Egremni Beach to be restored by summer

At tonight`s meeting at the Town Hall, Efthimios Lekkas, professor of seismology, made a report concerning the impact of recent earthquakes on Egremni Beach. Mr. Lekkas visited the area and mentioned that the landscape has indeed changed due to landslides caused by the earthquakes.

He believes that, as human intervention is quite difficult, the beach will be restored (even become larger) by this summer through natural processes.

The professor`s view coincides with beliefs expressed by the locals and in social media. The sea will make the beach even more beautiful than before.

As far as the access to the beach is concerned, the responsible parties should examine the issue and suggest ways for people to reach the area as safely as possible.

As for the scaremongers, this summer they are welcome to come to one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean; Egremni.
